I remember when they played in Glasgow many years ago. They went down well...under the boots and knuckles of the howling crowd. Apparently the lipstick and makeup didn't go down too well.

Early on in the glam rock days a boy in my class at school took to turning up to class wearing makeup. He was beaten up on a daily basis. Enlightened times.
