What Music Are You Listening To?

The lyrics rather resonate

Extreme songs that told me
They helped me down every night
I didn't have much to say
I didn't give up the light
I closed my eyes and closed myself
And closed my world and never opened
Up to anything
That could get me at all

I had to close down everything
I had to close down my mind
Too many things to cover me
Too much can make me blind
I've seen so much in so many places
So many heartaches, so many faces
So many dirty things
You couldn't even believe

I would stand in line for this
It's always good in life for this

Seems appropriate for B day

Used to be one of my favourite songs in my teenages

Creative angst worked there, the story goes that Trevor Horn set the band at each others throats to get them on edge, and push them in new directions

It's a classic album with prog elements, it's just not the Yes people recognise

Bringing Trevor Rabin into the band was a stroke of genuis for this, his Jazz Fusion angle made it

I'm at the Crossroads baby....

Some other teenage memories.
I was listening to the Canadian carillon as my snowblower sucked up frozen dog turds and they pinged off the discharge chute.
RIP Ted McKenna

Headphones, not fond of the video but the tribute band sounds all right. Brit Floyd start their 'Wall' UK tour in Liverpool next month.
