Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. can anyone tell me what a 'HD Pullover' is?
  2. heavy duty pull over perhaps? woolly pully. If i had one nearby i'd check, but i don't
  3. Isnt the wooly pully classed as JHW?

    Jersey/Jumper Heavy Wool?
  4. could be.. but, as I say, I don't have one near
  5. Isn't it a norgie? Wooly pully being JHW. Not sure but if your wearing one it's sure to be cold.
  6. Is this a p iss take?

Its a green rolley-up-thing that goes over your head and is meant to keep your neck warm.
  7. It was the green round-neck pullover with shoulder and elbow patches worn in the 70s - 100% pure wool, put mine on the hot wash and high spin... came out too small even for action man
  8. Thats it , its a woolly pully . The thing that keeps your neck warm is a headover.
