What is this TRF

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Acquired a collection of '95 kit from a car boot at the weekend.

One of the shirts had this TRF/Flash on. Any ideas what it is?

Google has let me down so far. Other shirts had the 42 NW Bde flash if that helps.

It may be upside down, Doris removed it before I could get a pic of it on the sleeve.

  2. Nope, its definately a QLR ( Queen's Lancashire Regiment ) TRF - the shirt probably belonged to a member of the LCV who were in 42 Bde before the Kings Division amalgamation.

  3. The links show the RTR TRF to be horizontal, with Brown on the bottom. This is definitely has the colours vertical....there is a big crease in the red column. The jpg doenst show the crease.

The other colours are green and black.

    Many thanks though for replying.
