Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Army have taken 500 quid for NPD this month out my wages has anybody any clue what NPD is?
  2. NPD - Non-Public Debt.
ie. Have you not paid the correct accommodation charge from three months ago. they would have informed you on last months pay statement (in the column Other Balances and then they take it from you on the next pay

They should not take more than 4 days pay in one month either. Phone JPA helpline and ask them, they can be quite helpful sometimes.
    Hope this helps.
  3. You might need to look left and right, they tend (with the new pay statements) to take it away, then give it back. I'm not an expert though.
  4. Thanks
  5. They did take it away some months ago and paid it back straight after??? I do owe the army money from unpaid Fuel and Light but was getting confused with the new pay statements! Thanks again for the help.
  6. That's £25 for online assistance. It will come out of your next pay statement. £25 for me and £25 for him. It might not appear until 2009 though, so we will be asking for interest too.

    Glad we could help,

    Sluggy x
