Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. What are the best insoles to buy for army boots and does anyone have tips regarding what to take to Harrogate AFC?

    Many Thanks,

  2. Simply fill your boots with sand. It will give you an exact imprint of your foot. It's also a natural resource out in Afghanistan, so you'll be able to renew them whenever you want.

Failing that, try these: Accueil - Sorbothane

Although don't ever doubt what I say.

  3. Sorbothane or whatever they're called are pretty comfy and last a rather long time!

  4. The Sole Ultra footbed works ,stick it in your boots an stand for 2 minutes, moulds around your feet.I've used them since day 1 of training an not had any bother with the boots. All feet are different though so you might need to try a few insoles an see what works.

  5. Sorbothanes. I swear by them.
