What about a Go To Page X button?

#1
Is it just me who finds it annoying that longer threads are difficult to access, unless you're willing to trawl through the whole lot?

For example, if a thread runs to 60 pages, you can go to the first three pages, and the last three pages, but if you want to read page 30, you've got to keep pressing the next page button!

Wouldn't it be possible to add a 'Go To Page XX' button?

Cheers

What a chore it must be pressing a button a few times.

Next you'll be wanting some sort of mechanism to rotate your eye balls across the page.

Are you in an iron lung you lazy fecker?

A 'quick fix' would be to actually use the address bar. Each page is 15 posts so the first page = 0, as shown below the second page will be 15, nine 120 and so on. So for tartan terrier to read page 30 he'd need to change the address to start=450.html

Page 2:

Page 9:

Now that is clever. Problem solved.

Can we have a 'calculator' button instead?

Simpler than chubbster.

Profile your own name (in a new window), search your last posts and unless it's not been deleted, you can find your recent post.

Edited to add; I've just done that for this post of mine and it took less time than it would for mdn to shoot his spluff over a small boys bottom
