Well done those jocks

Good skills - a brave plan formulated well and executed violently.

I hope the government don't start using the "6 chinooks" quote as proof we have enough - were they even ours?

The Highland Guards have to be the jammiest bunch ever. Just as the QM pops her clogs, removing their political top-cover and exposing them to the glare of defence cuts, they only go and acquit themselves bloody well in not one but two wars!

Bloody untouchable, now! (So far as any unit is, anyway.)

Reading the report...how many "hundreds" of troops can you fit into six chinooks...???
millions
That's why we 'ave henough 'elicopters. The entire force in Afghanistan can fit into one lift by the assets out there & still leave one spare for politicians to have a joyride.

Don't know what Yon was complaining about, he can have his own too ;)

Theoretically over 300, they are rated for 55 pax each, but I don't think you can do that in the hot and high conditions they are operating in. Probably more like 200 or less out there.
