Meanwhile, That Nice Man Mister Gove has suddenly decided to back PMTM.

A week is a long time in politics.

It ain't over 'til it's over.
Water, water, everywhere but not a drop to drink - allegedly. At least that's the line his CS team at DEFRA seem to have been pushing this time. Allegedly.

At least Bercow is consistent. His pro-EU biased behaviour in the last couple of weeks has been a disgrace to the office of the Speaker. The sooner the smug, sanctimonious creep is booted out, the better.

Much as I detest Bercow (hence the thread!), Mrs May has proven once again that she can be very vindictive when the mood takes her. Witness the almost complete annihilation of the Cameron set from the inner circle when she happened to be the last one standing in the PM selection process back in 2016.
I just wish she would show a bit more of that inner steel when engaging with the EU puppet masters.
As for Bercow - can you imagine how unbearable he would be in Ermine?!

There's just one catch to the incandescent rage shown in the meeja after Bercow allowed, against precedent and legal advice, THAT motion the other day. The HoC passed it which means the majority of members agreed that it should be put.
