was 16 air asault brigade a good idea?

A rapid reaction force to deploy anywhere in the world at 24 hours notice. composed of highly trained and selected soldiers.

If we werent using every available soldier at short notice everywhere in the world it would be a good idea.

But apart from the Kudos of the airborne affiliation, their role appears to be the same as every other soldier, thanks to our government choosing to keep the army busy.
Strange logic to put the most mobile part of the armed forces (airborne) with the part requiring massive logistic train (Apache), but at least the paras should in theory(!) get a bit of fire support now...
