  1. Hi Fellow members,
Just some information pertaining to the oyster travel card..

With regards to eligibility am I right in thinking it is solely for the war widowed or for all ex military veterans drawing a military pension?.

The advert says War pension scheme, does this relate to all wars since WW2 to present day?
Or defining wars as conflicts?..Falklands,Iraq,Afghanistan etc. :?

I did speak to a tfl advisor but no real joy as they didn't know the criteria either!!. 8O
To be honest my boot laces seemed older than the advisor..!!

And in addition I think all ex armed forces should get free travel.
    Just my humble opinion. :x

Thanks in advance for all info forwarded.
  2. Boris gives these out to those who receive an ongoing payment under the War Pensions Scheme or income from the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme.
  3. Many Thanks
    Sgt MS..:)

I'm off to the Post Office tomorrow to get an application form. :D

War Pension must be 20% or more.
    Read all about it here
  5. Not being pedantic but! surely a war pension is only granted after 20% as anything up to 20% is a grant?

anyway - pass it on to all you know as there is no certainty that this will continue, Boris is keen to have the rest of the uk do likewise,
though with finances the way they are, it would be no surprise for it to bescrapped.
