War Surgery in Iraq and Afghanistan

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I subscribe to the New York Review of Books and one of my December issues contained a wonderful review of 'War Surgery in Afghanistan and Iraq: A Series of Cases, 2003–2007' and four other related books. I also subscribe to NYRBs archive so I have an electronic copy of the review which I have saved as a Word doc. At just over three and a half thousand words it is a fantastic read, so if anyone would like a copy please PM me with an email address and I'll send it on. Please put 'War Surgery' in the email topic bar so I know it's you guys.

    Cheers,

    Harry

PS For those nervous about handing out their e-mail address to a black dress wearing, roll mat fighting former booty you can always create a temporary account at Hotmail, Yahoo, etc :D

  2. I've sent several copies of it but I'm now off to the pub. I'll check my PMs when I stagger in tonight.

Those who have read the review, any thoughts?
