WANTED : Alive and Kicking ....

WANTED : Alive and Kicking ....

Mrs Grills is looking for a particular type of vehicle to appear in a feature film.

The Film:
Is a prequel to two earlier films. It will be shot in the UK. Probably Southern England.
The Vehicle
: Is a crane. Preferably truck-mounted.
The Brief: They are looking to hire or possibly buy a civil or ex military "funky looking" vehicle, which suggests vintage, as early as you like but probably up to 1950s. Rough idea photo examples below.
Ideally it should be capable of moving under its own power
. If it's a truck it doesn't have to be road legal - it would be handy for getting it to/from the location - but must be in a safe and roadworthy condition. If it's what is wanted, transport could be provided.
Ideally the crane would be fully operational in all respects - luffing, slewing, and capable of lifting a probably fairly light mock-up load safely - weight TBD - (sorry to be vague at this stage).
However, if it's the ideal vehicle for their needs certain repairs, etc. would be made.
They are also looking for an early (1940s/50s) Fork Lift.

If anyone has, or knows of someone with such a machine I'd be grateful for the info.

Thanks.
