Wales TA?

Now that Prince Harry will have seen operational service, he qualifies to join the reserve forces. Should Harry join the TA once he leaves the Regulars? Could he one day command a TA unit even?

I can just imagine at the bar after drill night, "So Harry, what do you do in civy street?"

:p

It's a thought isn't it?

Maybe he could join the HAC?

Once he leaves the regulars?

He never will. He'll end up with the baton.

#7
How long will he have to wait for his Telic gong to be issued?

Well, I'm still waiting for mine since 2004. At least I'm not bitter about it. cnuts.

On a more serious note, perhaps it is time that the 'Royals' did a little more for the TA.

William or Harry being seen with, or working with, territorials would do more for recruitment (and possibly retention) than OAR and all its fancy adverts put together....
