Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. msr

    msr LE

Has this been replaced by 'Non-taskworthy' now, or can we still call vehicles 'VOR'?

Any pointers to the relevant JSP would be good.

  2. JSP 800, have a strong coffee before starting

  3. And yes it has replaced VOR, its very naughty to even consider using the term.

  4. Have a look on DII at the JAMES website, all will be revealed.

    Enjoy.

  5. Tell me about it, i got a "telling off" for saying that a few weeks ago.
Well sorry but ive been saying it for past 20 years and old habits die hard!

  6. if you have a look in JSP 800 Chap 11 i think? all will be revealed.

  7. VOR was deemed too simple and easily understood. Now we have fully fit, limited role and non taskworthy to confuse things a bit.

  8. So is that NT or NTW????

  9. MSR,

Step away from the JSP, once read you will forever be questioning the MT: Do you need an FMT600 for white fleet?
Is limited role allowed for Ex use?
Do you have to Fam an experienced driver on a Veh type he's driven a week before but at a different unit? :x

All these and more WILL consume your life, step away now...
