More on the 'winter is coming' theme. Assuming even a typical (though what's that these days) winter in Europe, movement (particularly of heavy equipment) and (overhead) ISR will be challenging because of environmental conditions, there's likely to be a COVID 4th wave disrupting daily life, and energy supplies and prices will be high on people's agendas.

Ukrainian source health warning applies:

'Russia is conducting a large-scale special operation against Ukraine. Moscow’s military maneuvers will reach their peak in January.

'This was announced on the air of the 1+1 TV channel by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov, UA writes.

'According to him, one of the components of this special operation is large-scale maneuvers with the accumulation of the army near the Ukrainian border.'

The UK buys gas from Russia ..
UK: oil and gas imports | Statista
What seems odd is that the UK buys oil and gas from the USA, and yet "In 2020, the U.S. imported more oil and refined products from Russian than from Saudi Arabia, with Russia’s share of American oil exports at a record-high 7 percent"

I can only assume the USA buys from Russia and sells to the UK at a profit.Or might they be doing the UK a favor for a change?

I'll admit that you're better than most Slavic-speaking trolls, who tend to give themselves away by struggling with indefinite articles in English but, no matter how good a misinformation farmer you think you may be, little mistakes like that will always trip you up. Nice try though, SteveLuhansk.
