Vietnam Memorial Wall goes online

Peter Krogh and Darren Higgins have taken 6,301 photographs of the Vietnam Wall and stitched them together to create an online interactive memorial on the historical document archive site, Each of the 58,320 names can be searched. Clicking on a name reveals the information known about each casualty and those who knew the soldier can add photographs and memories which can be seen by other visitors.

The average age of those who lost their lives was not in fact n-n-n-n-n-nineteen but 22.8 years old.

Initial interest is making the site a bit slow, but its worth a look.
