In which case “green tank” will be sufficient to describe a drained battery for a right angle torch with a broken lens and PTSD.

IMHO, most people begging in London are liars and scamsters of the first order. And a lot of the begging is backed by organised crime.

If they say that they drove tanks in the army ask them what colour it was.

Ask them how many times you need to rotate the turret to the left after two 360 degree turns to the right.
If they don't know it's 3 times just to be on the safe side they're false
