Buoyed by protesters and U.S., Maduro rival claims Venezuela presidency | Reuters
Backed by hundreds of thousands of protesters and the support of the United States, Venezuela opposition leader Juan Guaido declared himself interim president on Wednesday, calling for free elections to end the rule of socialist Nicolas Maduro.
In a statement minutes later, U.S. President Donald Trump recognized Guaido as Venezuela’s legitimate interim president, and a Canadian official said Canada was preparing also to add its support.
Guaiado as recognised by Washington president could call for US troops. Could we expect US intervention in Venezuela or it is just a 'colour revolution'?
Let's wait and see.

It is an attempt to discuss very serious issue in the thread voided humorous title.
Recognition of self proclaimed president by Washington is not a joke - it is a very serious matter.

As I understant the existing thread is focused on real or imaginary similiarities between mssrs. Maduro and Corbyn.
It meanders like many Arrse threads. It’s still about Venezuela and a President who Putin supports
In the case of US invasion Moscow could recognise 'its man' as a persident of Ukraine and enter troops.
Oh dear, another failed attempt to link something with Ukraine. Another ‘whataboutery’ thread.

Please, if you are going to keep posting your Russian slant here, take a year ( or three) out to study the language first.
I don't know if you are paid to use social media as a way of changing foreign opinion, or just a sad Minsk 17 year old , trolling from your bedroom.

You are not getting your point across.
If you have one.
