Vehicle faults

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Background information on the vehicle, 2004 model, out of warranty, bought used from a local vehicle dealer. The vehicle now has 31,000 miles on the clock and the crankshaft pulley has failed, having checked the Mitsubishi L200 owners club this is a fairly common occurence on these vehicles and even the main dealer who I put the vehicle into today said he has had quite a few vehicles in with the same problem. If this is a known manufacturing fault on the vehicle where do I stand with who should be paying for the repair?
  2. Sorry Vampireuk it don't look good. They will say sold as seen and its down to you.
  3. was there a manufacturers recall?
  4. No, just a large collection of pissed off out of pocket Mitsubishi owners, including myself now!
