That's me messed up in the head for the day! I experienced an emergency surface from quite deep many years ago - trapped on 2 deck with no depth gauges to see I wasn't aware if we were heading for the roof really fast or heading for the bottom equally fast and the thought in my head that my 3 month old son was about to lose his dad. One observation, the reality of doing an emergency surface along with the wide staring mad eyes is the sheer noise, energy and violence going on as the air systems do their thing and the main engines give it some. It's a ride I don't want to do again. Genuinely shaking after watching that. It's OK, I'll get over it

I'm pretty sure it was a C boat....... know somebody who was onboard.
