Just wondering if anybody has any idea when JPAC will get P60 information over to HMRC? I've been on the wrong tax-code for the past year (now sorted), but can't get any of it back until the P60 is filed with the tax office.
P60 info generally starts coming in to HMRC at the end of April, normally in by end of May. Usually comes in electronically and is then loaded up in the HMRC Telford Datacentre and made available to all Tax Offfices the following morning. So I'd say end of May at latest. About the same time you get your copy.
Total Pay & Tax figures on your March payslip should generally be the same. So there is nothing stopping you from writing to them now to make the claim (quoting those figures). By the time they read it they will either have the info and repay or ask you for your P60 which you will probably then have.
You need to initiate the claim if you want them to crack on. If not it will either happen in their time or never.

If you are enquiring about your P60, provided you have paid tax, it will be issued by the middle of May 2012.
I received mine from Xafinity last month, applied to HMRC for a tax rebate & new tax codes and received both this month. Mind you I had to wait in a long queue of people for several hours to speak to a real person (twice) to get enough info so I didn't mess up my application (which I did anyway). I found both Xafinity & HMRC excellent to deal with.
Follow my advice above. HMRC will have the confirmed details by the time they get round to dealing with it. If you hold back you'll only be further down the queue. This time of year is busy for claims so write sooner rather than later
