Wonders if the tool contract has actually been renewed yet...

(I spent 2 weeks writing NSNs on all the new tools the QE had to go out and buy as there was no contract in place).

Yes it is mate. It's been glorious compared to three years ago where we made good with second hand off decommissioning boats.

Yes it has - finally!

I was unceremoniously called a bit of an idiot when I questioned why the tools weren't coming through:

Woopert: "Well, you need to see the bigger picture; you're too far down the chain to understand the ins and out of negotiating contracts. The tools and similar contract takes a minimum of two years of negotiation!"
Me: "Oh OK, thanks for explaining that Sir. ...why didn't they start the new contract negotiations when the old one was in it's last two years?"
Woopert: "Incoherent officer mumbling."

I think most helmets come with the capability of rails and/or cameras being fitted now. As for SBS helmet; which one? There are quite a wide variety.

I've no idea to be honest. I'm MoD police - we currently use the mk6a still

Whilst I have the utmost faith in our management to have considered it, I thought it might be an idea to punt the idea of a decent lightweight helmet that's already in the system (and potentially cheaper to procure.)

SBS type as I would guess theirs are more suitable for our boatie lot

I mean it's not like there are plenty of police firearms officer helmets in existence within the home office forces that they could literally just go and put an order in with...

Yep that's the sort - guess they're compatible with the current MoD respirator?

Apologies, couldn't reply earlier as I was too busy counting my overtime

Whey hey, I’m now a Swinger

So just wondering if anyone has the NSN for the metal thatCham pallets, can they come with fixed sides as we are planning on using them in our ammunition store?

Thanks in advance from your friendly neighbourhood swinger...
