Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Interesting bill introduced by Rep. Rangel, Democrat from Harlem and Korean War Army veteran (and as of this week under an ethics "indictment" in Congress) proposing mandatory national service-military or otherwise. Oh the possibilities.....:D

    Read The Bill: H.R. 5741 - GovTrack.us

  2. Never gonna happen, he's done that before and he didn't even vote for the bill. Rangle does this every now and then, especially since he wants deflect from his congressional ethics trial coming up

  3. As well as the ethics issue, could this also be to do with the mid-terms? However, trying to bring back the draft isn't going to endear him to the majority of younger voters!

  4. That doesn't matter. Short of being revealed as a cannibalistic serial killer, the people in his Harlem district will re-elect him.

And young people don't turn out to vote anyway.
