Fallon was a poor choice in the first place. Look for an Army or Marine General to get the job, at least thats my take. The Army is going to move/promote several officers this summer anyway. Fallon's deputy LTG Dempsey is going to get a fourth star as is LTG Odierno.Petreus is due to be reassigned.McNeill in Afghanistan is retiring and will be replaced by General McKiernan. Odierno has been tapped to be the next Vice Chief of Staff replacing a retiring General Cody.
