Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Has anyone got any experience of resigning into service and taking the unbroken service for pension rights instead of the financial bonus that was on offer at the time. Just asking as one of the lads had a few years out of service and has a contract signed at the Careers office saying that he should be out 2010 with this but Manning and records are saying this did not exist, I can vaguley remember this at the time and have seen the contract. He is currently beeing fobbed off but wonders if its worth taking this further as he should of been out over a year ago.
  2. Shouldn't he also have a copy of any 'terms of service' that he signed?

Something like that would be backed up by some sort of 'certificate' from MCM surely.
  3. yes I have seen the contract and has forwarded this to manning and records but they deny all knowledge but the paperwork is all legitimante even with a stamp for his p file reference ive told him to get a solicitor or the legion to help just wondered how he stands and he is looking forward to any answers on here
