Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Ive got a friend in TA who is looking to do this course.

Has anyone here done it, and was it worthwhile.
  2. is that the underwater one?

  3. What unarmed combat couse and get your own name

Sure you're not thinking of the Dismounted Close Combat Trainer?
  5. this has to be a wah surely?
  6. I did it and it's well worthwhile. One night a gang of about 20 lads started on me and i put all of them in hospital just by doing the things i was taught on this course. They were all big lads as well and i reckon it must have been a rugby team or something but they had no chance with the moves i learnt on this course.
  7. Don't tell me... is your friend... with *whispers* them?
  8. No, you're thinking of the knife fighting one.

The UCC (Unarmed Combat Course) is a special to arms course, only available to 49 Para and certain TA units.
  9. Do they still teach the "Dim Mach" and the chicken chop on it? they are the only two moves you really need to know. Buck Norris (Chuck's brother) was my instructor, top bloke.
  10. stop giving sensible helpful answers.

would love to see him turn up at the DCCT wearing his kung fu gear :)
  11. So, you ran away then? And their injuries were actually sustained while fellating each other in a pissed up "dry bum scrum"

You bastard :D I was hoping he would ask what it was so I could embroider some stories.
  13. You Sir, have just made me laugh out very loud indeed :D
  14. If his unit does a camp in Florida, NASA's unarmed combat instructors could teach him the Vulcan death grip.
