Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. This was reported in The Times a week ago - I'm surprised that there wasn't a thread on it then. Apparently the pressure to ban cluster bombs has come from none other than Gordon 'no one admires or respects the armed forces more than I do' Brown. So basically, after a decade of denying the forces the money and materials to do the job, he now wants to stop them using the meagre resources that they still have. Maybe he'll ban using live ammo next.
  2. ... and oblige every member of Armed Services involved in an "incident" to fill in "Incident reports" and "risk assessment forms". Sounds right. :)
