  5. F-35B is pants - limited to 7G with minimal ordnance and minimal range because it has to lug an engine only used for take off and landing around with it on every mission.

    they should have bit the bullet, bought the cats for the carriers and be able to operate the much better F-35C aswell as others on our carriers, and ours on theirs.

  10. You don't understand the concept of trials aircraft then? Four aircraft isn't the UK's whole planned purchase.
