The RAF and Royal Navy will conduct flight trials of the jets which will operate from land bases and from the sea.
See, we don't need aircraft carriers.

F-35B is pants - limited to 7G with minimal ordnance and minimal range because it has to lug an engine only used for take off and landing around with it on every mission.

they should have bit the bullet, bought the cats for the carriers and be able to operate the much better F-35C aswell as others on our carriers, and ours on theirs.

Lightning II will be operational from land-based airfields from 2018, when it will also commence flight trials off the HMS Queen Elizabeth carrier.

The T K Maxx regiment of Gurkhas
The Matalan and Electrical Engineers
