UK soldiers save Afghan girl shot by insurgents

Ministry of Defence said:
A young Afghan girl who was shot by Taliban insurgents as they attacked a British patrol in Helmand has been given lifesaving treatment by soldiers from 1st Battalion The Royal Irish Regiment.

I am sure shitehouse shiner will be looking for some way to turn this into his usual anti British Forces bollocks, won't be surprised to see the bbc or guardian reporting how the little girl was shot for the fun of it by the Soldiers and the taliban used their jihadie magic to save her and bring about a land of love, honey and world peace!
It's a nice story. Unfortunately it'll probably be followed in a couple of months with a story about her and her family being killed by the Taliban for being treated by infidels.

Really hope I'm wrong.
