Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. A British soldier has been killed in an explosion in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence has announced.

The soldier was from A Company, 3rd Battalion The Rifles, serving as part of the 3 Rifles Battle Group.

The explosion happened in an area 3km (1.9 miles) south of Sangin in Helmand province on Monday morning.

  3. RIP

    God Bless

  4. RIP Lad

  5. Another brave soldier dies and where does the British Media especially the BBC put it on their broadcasts? Yes half way through the lunch time broadcast, obviously this is less important than American medical reform, more greed by MPs and BA vs the Unite union struggle in the eyes of thel British Broadcasting Corporation.

Shame on you BBC and the rest of the so called British Media, these brave and dedicated soldiers are laying down their lives for YOU and the rest of us.

God bless all our service people and rest easy those who will not return.

  6. Rest in Peace soldier.

  7. How about putting the date in this kind of subject.

    RIP

  8. RIP Gone but not forgotten

  9. Most of us on here know the arrogant communist/socialist BBC heirarchy have very little time for those, who in their perception are stupid enough to serve their country.

The privileged BBC elite owes a great debt to those who serve that will never be re-paid.

The same can be said for the champagne socialists in Labour who have personally gained from Britain's involvement in the current wars, but on no account would they or any members of their families serve in the Armed Forces they so passionatly despise.
