This has to be one of the blackest weeks in my 30 years of service. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends and collegues of those who have been lost. To those currently on Ops; stay safe; come home safe.
They say that as long as one person remembers your name, you will live on. That, Prime Minister, is why we should encourage people to stand and read the names of the fallen - anywhere, any time any place; even within shaming distance of Downing Street and the Palace of St James.
