Joined a couple of days ago. It doesn't seem to do anything more than Facebook at first glance. In fact, it seems to do a good deal less.

I've heard of it, but really can't see the point. Like Mike, I've only known it to update your facebook status- Why the hell use a website to update another website? Pointless if you ask me.

Its designed for small (140 characters, the US SMS system) and very regular updates where you dont want to neccesarily use a computer, microblogging is I think the term used.

"Went to the shitter"

"Had a sh1t"

"Wiped my arrse"

"Flushed the bog"

What a waste of time, still its massive in the US, bit like their arrses

I joined a few days ago after listening to Chris Moyles on Radio 1. I follow him & Stephen Fry I find it interesting to stand a long way back & see me get an update from Celeb in real time (as well as another 40K folk)

Looks utter s hit. It was featured on BBC London News/South East/Whatever its called these days, and if they had to resort to this garbage due to no other stories, then that tells you how atrocious it is.
