Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. 4 cans of tuna are £2.50+ in the local supermarket whereas 4 tins of Tuna Flakes in £land are.....£1.

Appart from one being chunks & john west branded there was no difference.

Forgot to add the question. Does anybody know if there is a reason not to buy the flakes as opposed to the chunks?

  2. I can tell you that Blue fin Tuna is nearly extinct. They reckon that in two years they'll be all gone.

Not a problem - most people are buying Dolphins flaked or otherwise

  4. Is flaked a clue to where it comes from? ..it is from Thailand this can in question.

I know it seems like a silly question but im just trying to workout if id loose any benefits swapping the expencive chunks for the cheaper flakes. Tastes the same and there are 25g of protein per can hwich aint bad.
