Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I've only found out today that i am going to be taking the TST for the job i want, combat med tech. Is it true that you can use a calculator? If so, can you use it on any of it (if possible) or only certain questions?

    Also, is it mega hard?

Because i have the sample questions & i've experienced in the past that sample booklets/papers for exams are a lot easier than the actual exam itself.

    Cheers :)

  2. You get a calculator. You can use it on any question. Some of them are easy/simple.
Others are hard, especially towards the end of the exam.

  3. The sample questions are a fair example of the TST questions. You will find with the Army you are taught what you need to know, then tested on exactly what you have been taught. Strange I know.

  4. Army16, stop creating new threads all about you.

Read the links thread to see the main chat threads and have a read or even search. Your not the first person that tried to join up and face a mountain of questions.
