Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Link

No picture in the online article, but there was one in the paper of it worn with a beret, presume there will be a helmet bracket/strap. Looks like the recently issued police ones, slightly smaller than a mini maglite.
  2. Aside intelligence collation, on another tack, it could be used to record evidence of shootings in a battlefield of increased litigation, could be a useful bit of kit to go against people falsely claiming being shot at by troops?
  3. Or be used to hold the troops to unfairly high standards of selectiveness by people watching the footage while not being shot at.
  4. It can always be edited before release!

Does anyone know what sort/type of cameras are used for this?
