Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. The sooner the better!!! But not this side of 2010
  2. Quote; "The Kurdish leader insists that no Iraqis want foreign troops to remain indefinitely in their country."

Does this mean we'll all be getting Iraqi citizenship??? :D

Except for the 'irregulars' who came from Syria, Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Sounds as convincing as a Bliar 'we don't deal with terrorists*' statement.

    *except in Northern Ireland.
  4. hope they will be eternally grateful and give us discounted oil for next 20 years.

not holding my breath on that one, there is a saying in my area, " eaten Bread soon forgotten" gratitude is a very short lived thing for some people.
  5. I suspect that the Iraqis tolerate them at the moment because they're a useful source of suicide bombers and cash. Once things change they'll be the first ones up against the wall.
