Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I have just been browsing around BBC ceefax page 116 and i read the following.

A new federation is being set up to represent the British service men and women in the Army, Royal navy and RAF.
Orgainisers say the British Armed Forces Federation ( baff ) is not a union but will promote the interests and welfare of those serving as well as verterans.
Soldiers are banned from taking part in strike action or political activities.
The idea has arisen from an unofficial website The British Army Rumour service - a focus for the views of serving personnel and their families.

That is exactly what the report says. Well done arrse :D

Apologies if posted earlier. I cannot find a link on the BBC website, sorry.
