The annual "Trench night" held at the Staffordshire Regiment museum, Lichfield, is taking place this saturday - 08 Nov 08.

The museum has a full size trench in it's grounds and every year our group put on a cameo for the public. Approx 30 mins it involves the public following Tommies from the Staffordshire Regt retake a trench from the Germans, then get gassed, see medics treat casualties and finally see the Tommies go over the top.

There will also be lectures about medical services, the RFC and the Warwickshire Regiment in the museum itself.

Cameos run every hour as limited numbers allowed into the trench due to space.

If you want to come ring the museum direct to check timings and availabilty time slots. All monies raised on the night go to running of teh museum and military charities.
