TRBL Under Fire

They aren't the only ones, SSAFA is getting a lot of stick too, including internally. Seems apart from not listening, the current controller makes things up on the hoof, in Scotland they have virtually created a SSAFA Head Office of their own and in the process of appropriating successful Branches money to pi55 up the wall on those that are failing.

Andrew Gregory is a decent bloke. Has anyone approached him with concerns or a plan? Or a people fearful they may upset the boss?

Questions should be asked of all charities, if they ever feel uncomfortable answering them, then it probably needs looking at.

BLESMA is a really good charity, it has a few members on the board of trustees which helps. They also change some trustees every few years.

TRBL under criticism for the closure of holiday centres and other 'failures'. Not sure all of it is justified but their strategy of late is somewhat flawed.

Ive written before about Poppy Holidays. My old RSM + wife and all the brown nosing seniors + families in the regiment had a week at the expense (including alcohol) of the RBL.
Clearly it wasnt being used as it should and was just a waste of money.

Im not a fan of the RBL but most of the people bumping their gums in the article seem unable to sort their own shit out and think that charities should rush in and sort out their admin.
