Trapped Muscle???

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I haven't got a clue what's happened but I've got a very painful right upper chest today. I think it may be a trapped muscle between my ribs. It's so bad that I've got difficulty standing upright at times, and since I'm walking around like Quasimodo I'm starting to get pains eleswhere too (neck, shoulder etc.).

Has anyone had any similar problems, and if so how did you deal with it? Or indeed how the doctor deal with it?

Before anyone says it, I know that my first port of call should be the doctors, but rather than wait till tomorrow I thought I'd ask here today.

    Any ideas gratefully recieved.

  2. Probably slept on it, get some ibuprofen down your neck, and give it a good stretch... if that doesnt work go to the doc, and don't sue me....

  3. I've already tried the Ibuprofen, combined with Paracetemol without any major effect, and stretching while perhaps a good idea is at present too painful.

Any ideas that will get me ready for work in 5 hours?
