Trade related apprenticeship?

#1
"opportunity to start an appropriate trade-related apprenticeship, with a logistics or telecommunications base to be completed at your unit"

taken off the armyjobs site on the OP Assistant RA page, just wondering if anyone knows more about what it actually is and do you actually get the oppurtunity to do it?

Much appreciated, SS.

I am not too sure what that is but i can assure you that recruiting for Royal Artillery is about to cease imminently and isnt like to open again for the forseeable future ;)

It's talking about Carry & Deliver Goods (CDG) and Driving Goods Vehicles (DGV) apprenticeships at Level 2 and 3 for Logistic trades of which all RA soldiers get the opportunity to leave Phase 2 training having started a CDG NVQ at least. This is then finished off with minimal work in the Regiment. There are also Warehousing qualifications available for those that work in the stores.

For those who work in the Signals trade there is the opportunity for Telecommunications apprenticeships at Level 2 and 3 and also an NVQ at level 4 so if you were an OP you may get these opportunities too.

There is quite a bit more on offer, use this link:
