Do we need an outrage tour-bus?

Nice way for The Mirror to move the focus off the defence cuts caused by 13 years of socialist dogma.

Yeah, that and the recession and the banking crisis. Thought I would throw them in cos you forgot them.

TBF, if hadn't been pointed out I wouldn't have noticed it. I only went for a look as I was expecting more dramatics, you know, the head-banging and exaggerated wind-milling of the arms. Now that would have been baaaad.

Really? So it doesn't look like a bit of finger picking, followed up by some strumming, with a bit of fret board action?

Do you know what a guitar looks like?
My son plays the guitar and is at Uni studying music. The MP was playing an air guitar but it looked to me like he was actually practising some chords that he may have learnt recently etc. The moves looked much more detailed than just mucking about for the sake of it. I do think this is a bit of fuss about nothing really. It was just unfortunate that he was sat where he was and the camera picked it up.

These people are doughnutted around the speaker and placed in these specific seats precisely so that they show up on camera and they are all fully aware of it. So him being "picked up" by the camera just shows how little attention and sense he was displaying.

I realise that and I accept your point that he should perhaps have been paying more attention.

exactly right.
it doesn't mean he doesn't care either. just had a thoughtless moment in yet another bla di bla meeting.

has never anybody's mind wafted off in a business meeting? even when it came to topics you had strong opinions about?

maybe if the people stopped being OUTRAGED about everything they possibly can be, the politicos wouldn't see the electorate as a load of plebs.

Get over it! Maybe he was playing the world's smallest violin for all you 'outrage bus' bores.

If you take a minute to actually think about it, the real source of the lack of respect (if you really want to point the finger) is the fucker announcing the redundancies.

Rock on Tory!
