here goes my top 5 (subject to editing when i can think of others that maybe better) in no particular order
1. platoon-particularly liked the edition with voice over by dale dye(military advisor) who also starred as captain harris(expend all remaining on my position). gives a good insight into the film and why certain bits were put in.
2. bridge too far (run laddie run, its ginger he'll never make it) used that bit in a powerpoint presentation recently.
3. italian job, best car scene in film history.
4. ice cold in alex, fond memories of grandads war stories driving same ambulances.
5. cockleshell heroes.
6. we were soldiers.
7. proof of life.
8. lock stock and two smoking barrels.
9. who dares wins.
10. saving private ryan.

i know it said top 5 but there were too many to put down 5,and i cant count.

also from a t.v point of view got to put in

tour of duty (great soundtrack, particularly paint it black by the stones)
