Hi there everyone, My name's Rachel and I'm currently 27 years old. I'm currently in fitness training to prepare myself for applying for the Regs before I hit 29 (my initial aim was the TA, but I've changed my mind since then, I want to do this "properly", so to speak!). Of course I realise that you can apply to be a soldier up until you're 32, but I am just wondering -- is it common for people to join the army so late? This isn't going to put me off at all, I'm just curious if anyone else, like me, had grown tired of the daily office grind in wont of a better career that actually has a chance of you moving up the ladder. R P.S. Am interested to hear from any CMTs in the Medical Corps, as this is what I would like to do!
