Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The Prime Minister was faced by a walk-out by union activists when he began making his last ever speech to the TUC Congress.

As Tony Blair got to his feet at the Brighton Conference Centre to address 700 delegates, a group of activists left the hall, including Bob Crow, general secretary of the Rail Maritime and Transport Union.

Looks like even his oldest allies are turning on him.
  2. I dont think this lot have been allies for a while?

His responses to the hecklers were hilarious though.

  3. Have the TUC/Bob Crow & Co ever liked the PM?

I don't think they've quite gotten over the whole New Labour notion(electable Labour in comparison with the state of the Labour Party pre '97)

    (edited because of pore spelin)
  4. IMHO the fact that a bunch of Communist dinosaurs don't get on with a Labour PM is a big plus for Tony.
