Funny thing language. We'd call that a pot. Don't really use saucepan much. A pan is what we use to fry things and what you would likely call a skillet.

I call that a pan, a sauce pan to me is smaller (holds about a pint).
A skillet I call a frying pan, a skillet to me is smaller and flatter I'd use it for pancakes or tatty scones.

It was my Mums, iirc she got a set of them as a wedding present.

We also have one of them. I think Mrs R’s Nanna use to have it.
