Calm down. As I said I wanted to do a smiley, but they’re still in the plastic packaging. ‘Twas a joke. I also gave him a like.
I bet he didn't brew the beer himself either, the cheating bastard ;)

I apologise, the 300ml of double cream probably has something to do with the negative brownosity.
Looks tasty though Mukker, I'd demolish that casserole dish full.

That's pretty much the one I used with variations;

Used cheap red wine
Added a tablespoon of tomato puree
Added a chopped onion
Didn't have the required herbs, substitutes with some herbs de Provence
Didn't need any flour
Prepped and cooked in one day, no overnight marinating
Removed the star anise 1/2 way through as it was quite a pronounced taste
Used my Oxo separator to remove the fat
Removed and shredded the meat, blended the stock and veg and added the meat back in.
Drank the rest of the wine whilst it was cooking
Opened the good stuff to serve with the soup.
With star anise you have to be prepared for how sweet it will make things especially when added to shallots and passata.

Personally I love it.

Wild rabbit with carrots, new potatoes and kalettes (no, I’d never heard of them either):

I think I saw them in a supermarket a few days ago. Look like kale crossed with broccoli? It's all basically the same plant anyway.

Food looks very tasty, I haven't had rabbit for years.
