You can live a wholesome, fulfilling life with cancer......Tiffies just suck all the morale and essence of enjoyment out of any situation.

Mods, please delete this thread before the carnage.
Isn't that why our board is so dull? (Except the recent reveal on the tiffy promotion front) Teh vast majority of posts on here are shite and never moderated!

In fact, manning up, how do you go about volunteering?

My point is, that APC have 'eyes on' and know only too well that we will discuss matters on here (sometimes they leave us with little choice thro lack of info) - and for that reason I feel that in a relatively serious forum, comments like "Tiffy courses as bad as cancer" just damages the reputation of the thread, and all that post / argue within it to a degree - which is why I asked for it to be deleted.

The NAAFI is the place for bone comments like at the top of the page - or more aptly - the Hole.

Did somebody just fail the PARB or fail their tiffy course and is rather bitter? Stop whining, unless you are a storeman, recce mech, metal smith or regt specialist you have the option to apply for tiffy. Just because it's not for you doesn't mean you have to be a cnut!

Thanks for your reply. I hope you are well now. A member of my family has just been told they have it. They are bearing up well to the news. I thought if they can cope with bad news like that then I should try and be happier on this dreadful course. Make the most of it. Hence the throw away comment....Never had a thought for all the angry people out there judging me by their standards. Sorry to those it offended!

A technical course is not fun, I know from first hand experience. 22 months of being hammered in a classroom aren't fun and at times you get really threaders with it. You just have to man up and get on with it or if you are that threaders quit.

Just a small observation that might be seen by APC, I was talking to some cav lads yesterday and we compared pay and quals of each trade in question here is what i can work out, which looks pretty bad for artisans across the corp. RAC: Entrance quals no gcse required, Quals required for high band staffy four month commanders course.
REME;Entrance quals for VM usually gcse at c grade in maths english and a science. Quals required for high band staffy 18 month TIFFY course in home of the church kebab.
How come the RAC get high band at staffy and do such a bad job at SQMS/T that some i have met cant even log into JAMES and some artisans that command numerous vehicles like CRARRV,WARRIOR,434 SAMMY and operate all these vehicles as well have to do a 18 month course to get the pay something is seriously wrong in the RAC or the REME which one is it
