That bit about "the families have requested a period of grace" includes you.

You will either be informed by your unit or see it on the news, just like the rest of us.
  5. Two served with the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards and one with the Royal Corps of Signals. Next of kin have been told.

Get the **** out of that shit hole. Now. No good has come out of intervention there. Except for the reduction in price of global heroin...
  7. RIP Lads.

If it is confirmed that its deffo a 'rogue' afghan then NATO will have to seriously think about how we deal with these so called allies. You cannot keep calling them isolated incidents ect ect as usual as they are starting to add up.
  8. Amen to that sentiment, RIP lads.
  9. May they rest in peace.
  10. Its not quite as simple as that. In a country so complicated where the head of a Taliban tribe will walk into a patrol base in Sangin and tell the British / ANA there of the locations of countless Taliban positions / weapons caches / family compounds and openly demand they are eliminated purely because he has had a disagreement with the other Taliban headshed from a different tribe, the complexity of shifting allegiances, infiltration and intimidation of the families of Afghan security forces is something we will have to put up with I'm afraid until we mag to grid.

    RIP, 'Septem Juncta In Uno'
